C’Shores council sets hearing and election dates

February 21, 2013, 8:30 pm by Alexandria Randolph

Cottonwood Shores City Council set a date for a public hearing on the building ordinances and an election date in Thursday’s meeting.

The public hearing was set for Thursday, March 7 at 6:30 p.m. at Cottonwood Shores Volunteer Fire Department at 610 Birch Lane in Cottonwood Shores. At the meeting, residents are encouraged to voice their opinions on the extension of city building and zoning ordinances into the ETJ, and the addition of an ordinance that would set the minimum lot size to 100 feet by 100 feet.

"There is an exclusion for single owner lots that are surrounded by other single owner lots. We make an exception for them,” Taylor-Carusi said.
