HL Tea Party hosts CSCOPE researcher

The Highland Lakes Tea Party will host a speaker knowledgeable on CSCOPE at their meeting on Feb. 28.

The presentation will take place at the next Highland Lakes Tea Party meeting and social beginning at 5:30 p.m. at the River City Grille on First Street in Marble Falls. Award winning educator, author and speaker Jeanine McGregor will discuss her research on CSCOPE an online curriculum management system that 70 percent of Texas school districts are using. McGregor will also speak on the results of state hearings about the program.

McGregor, known in the educational community as "Ms. Mac,” is a certified teacher on all grade levels and currently works as an educational consultant and educational journalist.

I so wish I could attend, but I did see her excellent presentation on Vimeo. I was glad to see the recent tranparency changes made by Sen. Patrick, however...you can put lipstick on a pig, but it's still a pig!

Please don't believe the delusional tea party people! Do your own research on the curriculum and understand that everyone has an agenda, especially the SBOE. I reviewed the 5th grade social studies and ironically it includes all the things that the TP allegedly stands for--free enterprise, free market, capitalism, etc. please inform yourself and do your own research.
