Thunderstorms bring between two and three inches to Highland Lakes

Thunderstorms rolled through Llano and Burnet counties Friday and Saturday, dropping temperatures and bringing between two and three inches of rain to points throughout the area before warming up Saturday afternoon.
At 4 p.m. Friday, Marble Falls Police and Fire Rescue began closing low water crossings in the city.
Sunday, the weather should be mostly cloudy with the chance of thunderstorms remaining but shrinking to about a 20 percent. Warm weather is expected to return with a high of around 90 degrees.
