I think it is a Bad Idea to send people to a Country that Loves to take America's as hostage. Just a thought why don't they do more for Burnet County.

I'm sure Don's heart is in the right place but a country like Columbia is exactly where the word of Christ is perhaps needed the most. Courageous missionaries have always been responsible for bringing civilization to the darkest corners of the world. But just like here in the Americas in the 17th Century, first there was the Holy Gospel, then and only then liberty followed. I know none of the members of Hoover Valley Baptist Church but we are mutual adopted siblings of Christ, and I salute them. They're Christians doing what so few will do, take a leap of faith, out of their personal comfort zone to try and bring more light to a world that is still very dark in places.

I am attending the mission trip and I  believe that others need our help. And find it selfish not to share with others that need our help. GOD is not just our's here in the US. HE is for everyone. And we are going to an island off the coast colombia not the main land that was taken over by the colombian government. They need help with learning and understanding GOD and how he works in our lives.    And we reach out to our community and have several community projects and it is about spreading Gods love to those who want to hear it. if that means the LORD is sending us else where to minister. We love sharing the word of the LORD!!
