Drought restrictions lowered in Marble Falls

October 03, 2012, 4:30 pm by Adam Troxtell

Marble Falls has lowered its drought restrictions to stage 1 following two major rain events and lower levels of water usage.

As of Wednesday afternoon, city officials are only asking citizens to take part in voluntary water restrictions by watering landscapes between the hours of midnight to 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. to midnight. Residents with even numbered street addresses are asked to water on even numbered days, and odd numbered addresses are asked to water on odd days.

The city is asking residents to continue conserving water in preparation for lawn upkeep during the winter months.
