‘Clean’ ordinance vote set

A year-long effort to put together a set of ordinance amendments that Marble Falls city officials hope will keep the town clean is expected to come to a head Nov. 20 when council makes a final decision on the issue.

The controversial amendments – which change restrictions on parking service and recreational vehicles in residential areas, storing items on front lawns and car ports, and mowing and maintenance of right of ways – have sparked public backlash from residents who say they represent government intrusion into their private lives.
