Reader CommentsIn other words, Roy Bode wants the city council to design a sign that all businesses will have to use. That way Marble Falls will look like a cookie cutter neighbor hood where you can not tell one business from the other. All the signs will be the same size, color and print size, so as not to allow one business to look different from the other. Like driving through a spec house neighbor hood looking for your friend's blue truck!!! I'm in favor of permitting a variety of traditional signs but think we have more than enough of those with electronic messages. No one complained that everything looked alike before the guy peddling those things came to town. How about that ugly light shining at Lorraines? Do you consider that distracting? And it's against Code, and was against code when it was put in. How about all the boats behind city tire littering the creek? is that a blight? |
