Melissa AndersonNovember 28, 2012, 9:02 am by Staff Reports
Anderson spent her youth as a professional singer, but devoted her adult career to a life in sales. Upon her death, she owned an insurance agency, Choice One Health. She was also an ordained minister with her own wedding business, Weddings To Go, and enjoyed performing wedding ceremonies all across Central Texas. She was known for having a great sense of humor and not being afraid to use it in just about any situation. Nothing was sacred to her when it came to seeing the funny side of life. Anderson was also known to be very creative, loved giving gifts and had a great love for her family and friends. She married John Anderson on Valentine’s Day in 1999 and enjoyed a loving and happy marriage. For her memorial service, Anderson has requested that everyone be happy, make jokes, and realize that she has simply passed on to be with the Lord and will see them again upon their arrival in Heaven. She did not believe that death was a permanent state, but merely an experience of moving from one phase of existence into another. She is survived by husband John Anderson of Burnet; sister Patricia Owens Daniel of Round Rock; brothers Tom Owens and Bill Owens, both of Austin, Sammy Owens of Brownwood; Aunt and Uncle Mr. & Mrs. Robert Ozment of Temple; three sisters-in-law; one brother-in-law; many, many loved nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews; numerous cousins and their families. |
