He was born June 17, 1958 in San Saba to Alvinia (Bostick) Wisdom and Alvin Victor Wisdom. He was a lifetime resident of the Hill Country. He loved being around family and friends, and he loved baseball and fishing.
Survivors include wife Nazanin Wisdom of Granite Shoals; daughter Tiffany Wisdom of Portland, Ore.; sons Roger Dale Wisdom, Jr. of Austin, Victor Franklin Wisdom of Llano, Carter Dale Wisdom of Llano, and Sean Hunter Wisdom of Granite Shoals; sisters Margaret McFetridge of Hearne, Texas, Madelene Ferguson of Kingsland, and Diane Gonzales of Llano; brothers Roy Dean Wisdom of Llano, Ronnie Wisdom, Sr. of Kingsland, Donald Wisdom of Kingsland, John Wisdom of Llano, Elton Wisdom of Llano, and Reggie Wisdom of Kingsland; and one grandchild. His parents and two brothers preceded him in death.
A celebration of life will be held at the Robinson City Park beginning at noon on Sunday, Jan. 27. Cremation arrangements made under the direction of Waldrope-Hatfield-Hawthorne Funeral Homes, Inc.
