Born July 13, 1948 in Sedalia, Mo., she was the daughter of Charles Jerome and Mildred Marie (Jett) Pratt. Cantwell graduated from Marble Falls High School. She worked as a waitress for many years at various restaurants in the Central Texas area. For the past 13 years she worked as a Service Technician at Starlite Recovery Center in Center Point. Cantwell enjoyed fishing, dancing, helping others through her involvement in various organizations, and watching her grandkids play sports.
She is survived by sons Paul Gibson and wife Rene of Leander, and Todd Gibson and wife Heather of Round Mountain; brothers Pete Pratt and wife Cheryl of Austin, and Greg Pratt of Kerrville; sisters Vickie Thompson of Kingsland, and Kathy Jackson of Center Point; grandchildren Annabeth, Ryan, Joseph, Travis, Sydney, Ty, and Dylan; and many other relatives and friends.
A memorial service will held Friday, Jan. 25 at 1 p.m. at Sonlight Chapel in Center Point with Leroy Brehm officiating. A reception and gathering of friends and family will be held immediately following the service at Sonlight Chapel.
