Burris was an entertainer. She liked to dance and sing, watch movies, go fishing, and enjoyed being outdoors.
She was a big follower of Michael Jackson. Survivors include children Mischelle Tester of San Antonio, and Timothy Clepper of Vista, Calif.; grandchildren Christopher, Cody, Carissa, Jake and Sashe; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Oda and Florinda Tway.
A graveside service was held at 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 12 at the Bluffton Cemetery in Bluffton. The Rev. Jerald Moore officiated. Memorial gifts may be given to the Highland Lakes SPCA, PO Box 1275, Marble Falls, Texas 78654.
