She was born Aug. 23, 1943 in Cartagena, Durango Mexico, to Enrique Chavez and Leonor Chavez.
She is survived by daughter Maria Prado of Marble Falls; grandchildren Arturo, Rocio, and Celeste Prado; godchildren Irene Gonzalez, Alicia Hernandez, Lucia Diaz, Jose Lopez, Victor Rojas, Alvaro Rojas, and Lucio Rojas.
The Rosary was recited at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 21 at the Edgar Funeral Home in Burnet. A Funeral Mass will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 22 at St. John The Evangelist Catholic Church in Marble Falls. Interment will be at the Marble Falls City Cemetery.
