HCCT’s ‘Remembering the Reagans’

There is a lot more to planning White House dinner parties than sending out the invitations and selecting a menu.
That was the message from Linda Faulkner, former social secretary under President Ronald Reagan, who reflected on her four years on the job during “Remembering the Reagans,” a High Tea talk hosted by the Hill Country Community Theatre (HCCT) Wednesday at the Yacht Club Ballroom in Horseshoe Bay.
It was the first of what should be many “revealing looks into historical and interesting events” through the eyes of guest speakers, said Bill Goforth, chair of the HCCT board of governors.
Faulkner’s appearance doubled as a live auction charity event benefiting the theatre, which enters its 25th anniversary season this fall. The event was sold out.
